Municipal Court Warrants in Greer County
A municipal court warrant is city-court process. It grows out of an ordinance, a city traffic matter, or a failure to appear, and it does not automatically become a District Court record. So the Sheriff's Most Wanted page may not carry it. Greer County's three incorporated places each take a different public-access path. The issuing city stays the first stop for any question about a citation, a payment, a hearing, a recall, or a court date.
Mangum Municipal Court Has the Clearest Web Route
Mangum Municipal Court answers at (580) 782-2250 and sits at 130 N Oklahoma Ave, with City Hall Annex information at 131 N Oklahoma. The city's pay-ticket page links to TrafficPayment. That portal serves City of Mangum Municipal Court only, not Greer County Sheriff or OHP citations.
The Mangum Municipal Court contact page is the source for the city route.

Mangum publishes no public warrant-search form, and a payment form is no status certification. A warrant check still runs through the Greer County city court itself.
Which Cities Have Municipal Courts
Each of Greer County's three incorporated places has a distinct city-office route. Their online records differ, though. Treat the table as a routing map, not as proof that every city publishes a live warrant list.
| City | Municipal route | Public tool found | First contact |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mangum | Municipal Court and City Hall Annex | City payment form | (580) 782-2250 |
| Granite | Town Hall and municipal judge | Code and directory only | (580) 535-2116 |
| Willow | Town Hall and clerk/treasurer | No current court portal | (580) 287-3398 |
The city page, not the Sheriff, is the starting custodian for an ordinance ticket.
Granite Code Explains the Warrant Path
Granite's municipal-code chapter covers court jurisdiction, clerk functions, traffic violations, arrest warrants, bail or temporary bonds, arraignment, and failure to appear. A related provision requires a citation be answered by the stated date or the next court date. Code text explains the warrant path for this Greer County town. It is not a live person or case search.
The Granite municipal-code chapter shows the city-court process.
Before leaning on the code alone, call Granite Town Hall at (580) 535-2116 or the dated Greer County municipal judge contact.
How to Check a Municipal Court Warrant
Work through every channel the city gives you, in order. No single Greer County municipal database exists. The Sheriff may serve a city's process, yet the city court still controls the citation and its status.
- Identify the city on the citation.
- Call the municipal court or town clerk with the citation number.
- Ask whether a payment form, hearing, or court appearance applies.
- Ask if a later FTA, warrant, recall, or satisfaction event is recorded.
- Use the county Court Clerk only if the city office identifies a District Court case.
What a Greer Municipal Court Warrant Shows
A city record can hold a citation number, the court, an ordinance or traffic charge, an appearance date, an FTA event, a bond or fine, and later payment or court action. What the public sees depends on that Greer County city's system.
| Citation number | Private identifier used by the issuing city court. |
|---|---|
| City court | Mangum Municipal Court or the relevant Granite or Willow route. |
| Violation | City ordinance or traffic description. |
| Required date | Answer date, court setting, or later appearance. |
| Warrant event | FTA or other city-court process, if entered. |
| Resolution | Payment, recall, appearance, satisfaction, or another court event. |
An empty Sheriff list does not clear a Greer County municipal matter. Only the issuing city court can confirm the warrant's status.
Willow Routes Through Town Hall
Willow's official directory dated June 13, 2024 lists Town Hall at 101 W Main, (580) 287-3398, and townofwillow@swoi.net. It names Terry Prather as clerk/treasurer and gives office hours of 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM on weekdays. The directory posts no current municipal judge, police portal, warrant search, or payment form. Give the Greer County town office your citation details privately and ask which court or agency holds the matter. A dated directory routes you; it cannot promise every contact is still current.
A City Police Number Is Not a Court File
Police may arrest or serve process, but the municipal court keeps the city-court record. Granite's sources list two police contact paths that need verifying, and Mangum posts a non-emergency police number of (580) 782-3382. Willow's current directory offers no current police contact. For a Greer County warrant file, ask the court, not the patrol line.

Greer Has No Separate JP Portal
Greer County runs no separate justice-of-the-peace or county criminal-court warrant office. State charges move through Oklahoma's District Court structure, and municipal courts handle city ordinances. So for a local ticket, the city office is the right first call about an outstanding warrant.
Routing rule: A city warrant can feed county service or jail activity, but county service does not make the Sheriff the office that recalls the city process.
Keep the municipal case number private and ask the court what can be released.
Resolving a Municipal Court Warrant
Ask the issuing city what it takes to clear the warrant: payment, a reset, a hearing, proof of compliance, a bond, or a judge's order. Mangum's TrafficPayment form does not prove a city warrant has been recalled. Granite's code supplies process concepts with no live payment route, and Willow posts no payment portal. Across Greer County, the city court decides when the warrant ends.
Do not guess: Confirm the city court’s instruction before paying online or appearing at a county facility.
When a failure to appear or possible custody risk leaves the next step unclear, a Greer County attorney can help you choose it.
Public Access to Greer Municipal Warrants
Oklahoma's Open Records Act generally supports access to public records. City-court files can still be limited by sealed matters, juvenile confidentiality, active-investigation rules, and other exceptions. The city clerk, Court Clerk, Sheriff, and police department in Greer County do not all keep the same records.
Access point: Ask the city office that holds the citation. Section 51 O.S. §§24A.5 and 24A.8 support the general framework but do not create a single municipal search portal.
For countywide court and Sheriff context, start with the Greer County warrant records home. Then return to the issuing city for the local case.
